Nearing the lake and our first break as we trekked into the back country that first day.
Our first glimpse of that particular lake.
The kids were really excited to see the snow that hadn't yet melted (though the weather was warm). After lunch, they had a snowball fight!
The lake was gorgeous!
When Zappy first went down...before I realized he was strangling.
Zappy back up on his feet, able to breathe again.
Grant's horse, Rocky, made the oddest sounds...Grant said it was a grizzly call!
