New Photos on the Flickr Site...
I uploaded a lot of new photos onto our flickr site...so, be sure and click on the Flickr badge in the right sidebar of this blog to see the new photos...if you would like to! (Instructions for those unfamiliar with flickr...use your mouse to place your cursor ON the little group of photos you see in the right hand side bar and CLICK ON IT. That will take you to the Flickr site where that group of photos is stored. You can then click on "View as a Slideshow"...give the black screen a moment to load...then you can see each of the photos individually in a bigger version. If you don't want to have to wait through all 48 photos, you can point your mouse at the bottom of the black screen and you will see ALL the photos at once in little tiny "thumbnail" version and you can double click on the individual photo out of the whole group that you are interested in viewing. Grandparent alert: You CAN order copies of any of those pictures directly from Flickr while you are there on the site, if you want. Also, any of the photos that I have posted in the BODY of this blog, you can double click on to see a larger version...and once the larger version is showing, you can either drag it and drop it onto your computer desktop (to have a copy on your own computer) or you can choose to print it directly right then from that larger image you are viewing!)

I am posting the photo below just because I really like looking at it! It is the was taken last October. Something about this photo has always tickled me! ...

  • Annika is my niece. She was born with bilary atresia and had to have her first major surgery at the age of 6 weeks. Just before she turned a year old, she had to have a liver transplant. Two and a half months later, she had to have a second transplant. Now, five years old, she needs a third transplant and her family's insurance is nearly maxed out so a COTA fund has been established to raise the money needed.
(Please click on the little bear button above to donate to her COTA account or to view the raffles and other projects that are in progress to build the fund. If you have crafts, etc, that you could donate to be sold/raffled, this would also help greatly!)
