  Weekend in Hannibal, MO
 
 
 
Grant and the kids traveled to Hannibal, Missouri this last weekend. Grant's bluegrass band was playing at the Mark Twain Theater there. (I couldn't go with them since I had to be at work both Saturday and Sunday.) These are a few of the photos that Darcy and Grant took...

 
Bless their hearts, instead of going straight home, they stopped off at the hospital where I work and waited in the lobby for two hours until I got off duty. Then we all had pizza together in town before heading home. Darcy wanted to take a picture of the family after we had eaten, so she took the photo of the four of us. Then I took the photo of her and Grant...and Grant took the photo of Darcy and I. I can't believe how TALL Darcy has gotten this past year! She still wears size 7 (she is very petite), but, even though she is short for her age, she still seems so tall for her, these days!

Thank you for the photos. It brought back pleasant memories. When Mindy(Susie's oldest) graduated and was pregnant with her first, we stayed the whole week-end. Kenny, Amanda & I went over to Hannibal. We even toured the cave! I've always wanted to go back again, so it really was fun seeing the pics!

  • Annika is my niece. She was born with bilary atresia and had to have her first major surgery at the age of 6 weeks. Just before she turned a year old, she had to have a liver transplant. Two and a half months later, she had to have a second transplant. Now, five years old, she needs a third transplant and her family's insurance is nearly maxed out so a COTA fund has been established to raise the money needed.
    (Please click on the little bear button above to donate to her COTA account or to view the raffles and other projects that are in progress to build the fund. If you have crafts, etc, that you could donate to be sold/raffled, this would also help greatly!)
